Saturday, April 23rd 11:00AM-3:00PM

CCAA has arranged for around 20 sites in Onondaga County that you can visit to learn more about clean energy options for our future. You can visit Farms, Homes, Businesses, Schools, Municipalities, and Alternative Transportation Fueling Stations. Each site will demonstrate one or more non-fossil fuel energy options, such as Wind, Solar, Geothermal, and Energy Efficiency.

How it works:

     1. Look at the Map or List:

Choose the sites you would like to see by deciding what types of sites and energy options you might be interested in. The map will show you where the sites are and give you a description of what that site has to offer!

Open the list by clicking on the  Listicon  icon below or any of the map icons for more information!

    2. Explore the Sites:

On April 23rd from 11am to 3pm, the sites will be open for guests to visit. This is a self-guided tour, meaning you are free to visit as many sites as you would like. However, transportation between sites will not be provided. We highly recommend carpooling! Some locations will have a CCAA member who will be there to talk to you about Climate Change and answer questions you might have about the issue. All sites will have a host who will be able to inform you about the particular non-fossil fuel energy options they utilize.

     3. Grab Some Literature:

We will have free literature at all of our sites for guests to take! This will include information about the different non-fossil fuel energies, contractors that install these systems and information on climate change.

    4.  Review the Event:

Let us know how the event went and consider installing wind, solar, geothermal, and/or energy efficiency. We are happy to make the information available to you. Send your comments to cc.awareness.action@gmail.com

The CCAA hopes that you enjoy this tour and we look forward to seeing you at this and future events. If you would like to know more about what’s going on with the CCAA, subscribe to our mailing list or like us on facebook!  Also check out our event calendar to see when our next meetings are going to be held and for updates on future events. Thank you!
