TAKE ACTION! Write a letter to your Congressional Representative(s) and let them know what you think about Climate Change.
Tell them that they should support immediate action on climate change in the form of a revenue-neutral carbon tax. Not sure who your Represenatives and Senators are?

Write a letter to the editor stating we need to start to switch off of fossil fuels.
Insist politicians include mass transit and bike lane support in all transportation funding bills
Urge your town, city and county officials to install solar panels on schools and municipal buildings.
Show support of green initiatives and campaigns. Address the importance of having laws that move us forward environmentally.
(i.e. support smart grid, support tax incentives for renewables, support “keep it in the ground” campaigns, support policies that encourage alternative energy and hybrid/electric cars, including tax incentives.)

Smart Grid:
Request that city and county officials allocate funds to switch away from fossil fuel consumption to fossil free energy such as solar panels, geothermal, wind etc. and make a goal of reducing electrical consumption through energy efficiency.
